AI Meeting Notes
Granola
An AI notetaker that joins your meetings silently in the background — no bot, no awkward ‘recording started’ announcement.
Why It’s Worth Discovering
Most AI meeting tools join as a visible bot participant, which can feel intrusive on client or sensitive calls. Granola runs quietly on your own computer instead, listening only to your device audio, so meetings stay looking exactly like they normally would.
What You Can Use It For
- Getting clean, structured meeting notes without an on-call bot
- Turning your own rough shorthand into a polished AI-enhanced summary
- Chatting with an AI across your entire meeting history to find past decisions
How to Get Started
- Download Granola at granola.ai
- Join any meeting as you normally would
- Review your AI-enhanced notes immediately after the call ends

Key Features
Advantages & Limitations
Advantages
- No bot on the call keeps meetings feeling normal, especially with clients
- Genuinely useful notes enhancement, not just raw transcription
- Works across Zoom, Meet, and Teams without extra setup
Limitations
- No shared live transcript for other meeting participants
- Lighter feature set than bot-based competitors like Fireflies or Otter
The right pick specifically when you don’t want a visible recording bot in a sensitive meeting — the tradeoff is a lighter feature set overall.
